The X-Tre Power Box is an advanced Timing Retard Eliminator module which improves throttle response, increases performance & torque and also bypasses the top speed limiter on all 1000cc+ Suzuki bikes. Designed for Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles with an OEM in-dash gear position indicator.
The X-Tre won’t disable the factory gear position indicator thanks to the built in microchip encoding/decoding the communication link between the ECM and the dashboard in real time. This feature is unique, as other TRE units on the market disable the factory gear position indicator.

Selectable Maps
Just like our GIpro/ATRE, the X-TRE comes with user selectable gear maps, offering the same benefit and flexibility. But now, there is no requirement to have an external gear indicator when the bike already has one. Of course, many riders may still want the GIpro unit for the larger and brighter LED display – and for bikes without an OEM dash gear indicator, the GIpro/ATRE is still the best option available today.
No Set-up Needed
After installation, the unit is fully functional, no need to setup. The default gear mapping is the 4th which can be changed easily to 5th or 6th to suit your needs.

Dyno Charts - Huge Power Gains

Will both the X-TRE and SpeedoHealer work together?
Sure, both units will work perfectly.
I have a DynoJet Power Commander III installed, is there any reason to get an X-TRE?
YES! The benefits are:
› The Power Commander can only re-map ONE ECM gear map. The X-TRE will complement the Power Commander because it locks the ECM map in the unrestricted map, no matter which gear is selected.
› The Power Commander can adjust the FUEL map only, while the X-TRE disables the timing retarder used in lower gears.
› X-TRE will disable the speed limiter on 1000cc+ Suzuki bikes while the Power Commander will not.
Do I have to remap the PCIII after installing the X-TRE?
No. The PCIII was mapped in 4th gear, where X-TRE has no effect.
I have an ignition advancer module, can I still use an X-TRE?
YES! X-TRE does not actually change the ignition timing, only forces the ECM to use the best gear map in all gears. This is why X-TRE works well with any ignition advancer and/or fuel injection module.
Should I do anything with the unit after replacing/disconnecting the battery?
No.
What is ‘buttonless design’?
Since the unit is mounted under the fuel tank, where it’s difficult to reach, we have designed the control interface such a way that reviewing and changing TRE mode is possible while sitting on the bike. You need to follow a simple sequence and operate the shift lever, ignition key and RUN switch. The method works with quick shifters too.
There is visual confirmation of the selected mode through the in-dash gear indicator.
Also, there is a status LED on the X-TRE box which can be really useful to determine which wire has poor contact in case of problems.
