The clutch main body is made of forged aluminum alloy, machined with 5-axis CAM technology. A hard oxide coating is used for the surface finish, which guarantees that the body is highly resistant to wear and its components move easily. The floating piston and seals are the same as those used in MotoGP.
Developed especially for popular high-performance motorbikes, the new RCS clutch master cylinder has a 14mm floating piston diameter to improve the feel and application effort on high-volume engines.
The idle stroke setting is already set to a minimum – like the master cylinders used in competitions – for greater precision.
Now, everyone can refine the performance of their motorcycle braking system simply by replacing their standard clutch master cylinder with a Brembo 14RCS, certain of the outstanding performance that the company offers from a decade of experience in braking systems.
The 14RCS master cylinder has all the technological features of the 19RCS - the M/C most popular with enthusiasts - namely the Ratio Click System, the same component specifications as for the MotoGP system, hard-anodized cylinder body, and folding lever. With the 14RCS, the user can change the lever pivot distance from 16mm to 18mm simply by turning the adjuster inside the cylinder.
