On recent CAN-BUS system-equipped motorcycles, any electronics-related change/modification will lead to an error code. Disconnecting the headlight assembly isn’t any different. This is where the HLE module comes in handy when you aim to convert a recent Aprilia or KTM to a track/race bike. You can professionally eliminate the annoying FI light with this simple and affordable solution. The HLE will keep the headlight error from coming up, but the FI light will remain functional. It will come on when it has to – when there’s trouble with the engine.
