ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRIPS

  • For the proper working of the grips it is absolutely necessary that the assembly on the vehicle is carried out by a qualified operator to assure the right product application.
  • DOMINO and TOMMASELLI are not responsible for any consequence arisen from an incorrect product assembly, in particular where this activity is not certified by a skilled operator.
  • The product is supplied in compliance with the geneal supply conditions available on our webisites www.domino-group.com and www.tommaselli.com, that the customer declares to have read carefully and accepted unconditionally before purchasing the product and once received it.
  • It is advisable to wear gloves during assembly operations. Do not leave in the environment products like old grips, packaging boxes and any material used for assembly.
  • Take the old grips off and clean carefully the handlebar and throttle control tube with alcohol. During assembling do not use solvents, lubricants or lacquers that could damage the new grips or their technical features.
  • Apply a drizzle of alcohol on the outside surface of the handlebar left end along the left grip area as well as inside the grip itself (the inside diameter is smaller: about 20mm).
  • Push and turn the grip on the handlebar left end. Make sure that the grip is fully assembled and in the right position according to the aesthetic requirements.
  • Repeat the same operations for assembling the right grip on the throttle tube with about 24 mm diameter.
  • Before using the grips, make sure that they are secure and fixed on the handlebar. For competition, to ensure further safety, the grip is provided with a special seating for fitting a fastening metallic wire.
  • In case of crashes or accidental strokes, check the wholeness and functionality of the grips and, if necessary, replace them.
